The same type of optics can be used for the XL-80 system, as the ML10. All measurements are interferometric and as a result of this, they use the traceable international standard wavelength of laser light.
The XL-80 optic system has various benefits that every user can enjoy. For example, it is interchangeable – meaning that it enables easy exchange for different measurements, without having to re-align the laser. Secondly, this measurement system also delivers convenience to the user because the moving optics have no cables to drag or snag. Lastly, this measurement system has quick acclimatization; some competitor systems
Please note: For rotary axis calibration, please see the RX10 rotary axis calibrator section. Also, for other optical accessories to assist in set-up and measurement, please see the optics accessories section. use stainless steel optic housings and this system does not. Instead, it uses Renishaw's aluminum optics, which has a higher thermal conductivity level.
