Extension Bars
|
These bars are used to extend the reach of the Renishaw probes from the CMM quill. Extension bars allow further penetration into inaccessible parts without degrading accuracy.
Extension Bar Options
Autojoint extension bars have the female part of the Renishaw Autojoint at one end of the bar, and at the other end of the bar is the probe connection mount. The mating half of the autojoint is found on probe heads and facilitates rapid manual or automatic probe or extension bar change. M8 extension bars have an M8 thread at the head and require manual removal and fitment. They are 2 wire and have an M8 thread at the base of the bar for probe connection.
