Datum ball, pillar and base.

A range of spheres for the probe qualification purpose, set on a stem that can be adjusted for a wide range of qualification angles. The spheres are of hard wearing tungsten carbide and are available in 5 different sizes. Each datum sphere is supplied with its own certificate, giving ball diameter and roundness. All sphere measurements are performed on equipment traceable to UK (NPL) standards. Sphericity of the spheres are to within 1µm and diametric tolerance ±1µm.
Each sphere kit comprises:
- One datum sphere
- Pivot pillar, base, 'C' spanner
- Ball certificate and storage box
- Adaptor for twin ball applications
Datum Sphere Kit includes:
- 1 datum ball (selected by size)

- Fixing stud (choose one from the list which follows)

Datum Sphere Fixing Studs
|
A fixing stud is required with each kit to attach the pillar to the table surface. Select one from the list below. Fixing studs are included in each kit, but a part number must be specified when placing an order.
