Often imitated but never surpassed, Leica Laser Trackers have been at the forefront of laser tracking technology for more than 15 years. These portable coordinate measuring machines have enabled companies around the world to deliver innovative products, achieve unheard-of tolerances, substantially lower manufacturing costs and increase productivity well beyond their expectations.
Leica has helped usher in a new era in automotive, aerospace and general precision industries in which the engineering prowess is the only limit. Rather than catch up with the needs of customers, they have actively involved them in the design process, responding with cutting-edge engineering that has tremendously improved customers’ innovation processes.
No matter what your needs are, there is a laser tracker available that best suits your particular situation: from general precision industry to automotive and aerospace applications and everything in-between.
Leica Absolute Tracker
Manufacturer: Leica
All-New Groundbreaking Laser Tracker Systems
At about 22 kg [48 lbs] and 62 cm [2 ft], the Leica Absolute Tracker enables easy one-person operation. A quick release mechanism securely locks the sensor onto the sturdy, heavy-duty tripod. You get the no-compromise stability that’s paramount for accurate measurements. Better still, the entire setup can be transported in the trunk of an average station wagon.
Leica T-Mac
Manufacturer: Leica
Leica T-Mac (Tracker-Machine control sensor), the next-generation 6DoF tracking device for automated applications, answers the needs of a growing number of Leica Geosystems customers who have either modified the existing Leica T-Probe for automated measurement applications or have expressed interest in doing so.
Leica T-Probe
Manufacturer: Leica
Leica T-Probe, the “Walk-Around” armless wireless device for probing of hidden, hard-to-reach points and measuring of up to 9 cars in one setup with minimal setup times, sets new standards by increasing accuracy, offering a ten-fold increase in point acquisition rate and providing user-assignable multi-function buttons
Leica T-Scan
Manufacturer: Leica
T-Scan is a high-speed hand scanner that digitizes shiny and diffuse surfaces in one go under normal light conditions. With a measurement volume of 30m (98ft), it scans large objects more accurately and 50 percent faster than comparable products. Set-up times are minimal, and there is no need for photogrammetric targets.
By projecting a laser beam point by point, the Leica T-Scan high-speed hand scanner uses flying dot scanning to digitizes all types of surfaces.
Leica LTD840
Manufacturer: Leica
LTD840 is the undisputed touchstone for aerospace PCMM applications, with a wireless probing range of up to 15m (49ft). LTD840’s high-end specifications translate into a probing measurement volume of up to 30m (98ft), enabling manufacturers to conduct demanding wireless probing of very large parts with just one setup.
Leica LTD709
Manufacturer: Leica
LTD709 was tailor-made to match the needs of customers in the automotive industry, offering a measurement range of up to 9m (30ft) with PCMM applications, an increase of 25 percent over the model it replaces. At the same time, LTD709 boasts a measurement range of 25m (82ft) when used with a reflector.
Leica LTD706
Manufacturer: Leica
LTD706 Leica Laser Tracker system is intended for Portable CMM jobs within a measurement range of 6m (20ft). It can be obtained as a Leica T-Probe II or Leica T-Scan system. LTD706 system·s uses are in high-accuracy product line assembly and inspection.
Leica LT 640
Manufacturer: Leica
Catering to the needs of general precision industry customers who place great value on system dependability and measurement precision, this entry-level laser tracker system is optimized for reflector inspection within a measurement range of up to 40m (131ft).
Leica LTD640
Manufacturer: Leica
LTD640 is LT640’s sibling with the Absolute Distance Meter (ADM) built in. The ADM technology allows for reliable automatic beam capture resulting in faster measurement processes.
